Broadway Activity Park, Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is obviously a major draw for tourists. There are plenty of thatched cottages to take photos of and cream teas to pig out on if that’s what you’re after, but if you’ve got kids with you, then Broadway Activity Park is a must. It opened in 2009 and is a fabulous place to take your family on a day out. And whilst family activities such as Cotswolds Wildlife Park are highly recommended, Broadway Activity Park is completely free.

Even if the park were not up to much, the setting is just stunning. However, the playground is extensive, spacious and well planned, with something for all ages. That’s ALL ages. I spotted many dads puffing out their chests, getting on the monkey bars and declaring, “look son, I’ll show you how to do it.” I could print several photos that would embarrass members of the extended Parklover clan, but I’ll spare them. Instead, check these out. Let your kids run around madly, whilst you soak up those beautiful views of the countryside surrounding Broadway. And plan where you’re going for your cream tea.
